Today, the Supreme Court struck down a New York law that regulated who is allowed to carry a concealed weapon in public, ruling it violated the Second Amendment.

The offshoot will be that a lot more people will be allowed to open carry in cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Boston.

New Yorker Jim Jones reacted to the 6-3 decision, suggesting that many normal NYC residents will take advantage of the loosening of concealed weapons restrictions to protect themselves from rising crime.
