Jermaine Dupri Explains Why Diddy Can't Compete with Him In Verzuz

by HHL JT

Folks have been clamoring for a Diddy vs. Jermaine Dupri Verzuz.

However, Dupri makes a good point about how unrealistic a Bad Boy So So Def showdown would be, and it has nothing to do with his side.

Dupri points out that Puff couldn't pull off the performance part of Verzuz because his performers aren't with him anymore.

“I don’t think so," Dupri said when asked about the match-up on Rory and Mal's podcast. "Because I feel like it’s a performance-based thing now and the majority of Puff’s records, who’s gonna perform?

“Yeah, you can bring out The LOX, but you can’t have nobody do Big’s verses.” he explained. “And I don’t know that Ma$e would come out with him no more, so I don’t think that it would happen based on that.”

Dupri added that all of his dogs will still bark for him.

“All my people, we rocking,” he said. “And we coming with a whole lot of energy.”
