Jermaine Dupri Asks Why He and Bow Wow Don't Get More Credit in Hip Hop

by Daryl Nelson

Bow Wow is known to get clowned on social media a lot, and Jermaine Dupri often comes to his defense— like he did when Timbaland said that Bow doesn't have enough hits to be in a Verzuz battle.

Dupri signed Bow to So So Def Records when Bow was a kid and the two have worked together on and off since.

The music exec recently asked his Twitter followers why he and Bow don't get more credit in Hip Hop for their accomplishments. Dupri also brought up Travis Scott's new song "Franchise," featuring Young Thug in his tweets.

When I signed Dem Franchise Boys niggas laughed at me, now Travis Scott got a song that samples white Tee and the song is called Franchise, always go with your gut
