Jeezy Speaks On T.I.'s Claim He Invented Trap Music [WATCH]

By Daryl Nelson

It looks like the Snowman doesn't want to be the Snowman anymore.

Jeezy sat down with the Everyday Struggle hosts and was asked who invented trap music. After DJ Akademiks said that Jeezy's good buddy T.I. has taken credit for it, Jeezy said he was fine with that. He also stated that he no longer wants to be associated with drug dealing.

"He could have it," said Jeezy, about T.I. claiming the originator tag. "Anybody else who want it ... I don't got nothing to do with that shit.  At the end of the day I trapped my whole life to get out of trap. I don't want to see it again. I don't even want it connected to me. No disrespect to my people's that's out there grinding. I just want to show them a bigger and better way. I just left the New York Stock Exchange yesterday

Why do you think Jeezy no longer wants to be tied to trapping or trap music?
