JAY-Z made it clear on his new album 4:44 that he has some issues with his former Throne mate Kanye West.
“You walking around like you invincible / You dropped outta school, you lost your principles / I know people back-stab you, I felt bad too / But this fuck everybody attitude ain’t natural / But you ain’t a saint, this ain’t kumbaye / But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye / You gave him $20 million without blinking / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinking?” Jay spits on the track kill 'JAY-Z'.Not long after the project dropped, we learned that Hov and 'Ye are at odds over Tidal; Kanye believes JAY-Z's streaming service owes him $3 million and Tidal believes 'Ye is in breach of contract.
However, sources tell TMZ that wasn't the reason JAY-Z called West out on the album.
They say the cause of Hov's anger is entirely Kanye's notorious November 19th rant in Sacramento, in which 'Ye bizarrely called out Jay, Beyonce, and their "killers".
"Kanye was days away from going to a psych ward with some really serious mental issues. We get why he [Jay] was upset, but give Kanye a break," one of the sources said.Sources have also told This Hollywood Life that Kim Kardashian is similarly pissed that Hova took "low blows" at her mentally unstable husband.

Apparently, Kanye had no idea JAY was going to diss him on 4:44 and was "shocked" by the bars.
Hov means a lot to 'Ye. Hopefully, this won't trigger another trip to the psych ward.
