Jay Z's Roc Nation has a merchandising deal with Major League Baseball.

But now Hov has run into some trouble with it because he stuck the Roc Nation logo on some of the co-branded apparel.

The problem is Jay Z sold the Roc logo to the Iconix Brand Group for $204 million. Meaning they control when and where it gets used. The group also owns and manages the Ed Hardy, Joe Boxer and Marc Ecko logos.

Iconix is now suing Hov, Roc Nation, MLB New Era, Lids and the San Francisco Giants for $10 million plus unspecified damages.

The complaint states: "As a result, Carter and his various companies...have deliberately undermined a series of agreements, after receiving millions in substantial compensation from Plaintiffs, by continuing to use and exploit in business the very property already conveyed to Iconix and Studio IP by contract."

It's a little weird Jay Z doesn't own his own logo, but at least he was paid handsomely for it.
