JAY-Z Bought Memphis Bleek a Very Fancy Chain

About five years ago, Memphis Bleek declared bankruptcy.

This was a surprise to many rap fans, who had heard Memphis's Marcy Projects mentor JAY-Z rap this on his "Diamonds of Sierra Leone" verse.

"Bleek could be one hit away his whole career/As long as I'm alive, he's a millionaire/And even if I die, he's in my will somewhere/So he can just kick back and chill somewhere, oh yeah/He don't even have to write rhymes," Hov rapped.

While Bleek might not be a millionaire, he does have a very fancy new chain, courtesy of HOV.

Memphis posted the chain, which was a gift to celebrate the 25th anniversary of JAY's seminal album Reasonable Doubt, and JAY-Z's thank you note.

"Just got to the crib and look what I see‼️ #RD25 #Roc4Life 25yrs ago this album saved my life‼️The OG know on the low I had the best verse! 😂🤣 #LoveMyTeam🍾🍾 #DusseLife #RocAFella #WHMG 💙🙌🏾🙏🏾 Still Riding out‼️🏠💯" Bleek typed.

Bleek did his thing on the Reasonable Doubt track "Coming Of Age".
