Jay Electronica Says His Debut Album is Done And Gives Release Date

by Daryl Nelson

Jay Electronica recently appeared on the song "Diving For Pearls," by Arabic hip-hop group Sons Of Yusuf. And now he says there's more new music on the way. A whole album, in fact.

Jay made the announcement in a series of tweets that were posted on Thursday, and he gave a release date for his debut album as well.

It's been 10 years since the New Orleans rapper blew fans away with his Just Blaze-produced cut "Exhibit C." There's been a lot of false starts since then, in terms of his album dropping, so we'll have to see if it's really coming out when Jay says it will.

Do you think the album will really come out in March?
