Jada Pinkett Smith Says She Never Felt Protected In Relationships

Ever since Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscar Awards in March, it seems that people have been trying to figure out what made him snap.

Now, a video of his wife Jada Pinkett Smith opening up on her Red Table Talk show might add a little insight.

“My thing was just not having protection,"said Jada."That’s my biggest wound that comes out in all my relationships. Those women that you see and you think are so strong, there’s this terrified little girl underneath. That’s me.”

Of course, only the Smiths really know, but it's possible that Jada communicated this to her husband throughout their marriage, which made him strike Rock, who had made fun of Jada's bald head.
