J. Cole Gives Fans Bad News About His New Album

J. Cole turned 40 years old yesterday, January 28, and to celebrate he started a blog.

"Happy new year to yall and God bless. 2025 will be a good one," he wrote in part.

Some thought that message was a sign that he'd be dropping his next album The Fall Off soon, but that isn't the case.

"Ib told me some people was thinking this blog meant an album was about to drop," wrote Cole in another blog post. "Nahhh. Not exactly. When it’s time for something you will know. This is not that. I just wanted a place to share documentaries I be watching on YouTube and songs I f*ck with."

But whenever the Dreamville spitter does release the album, it'll be interesting to see if he gives more detail about why he dropped out of the Big 3 battle, or if he responds to Joey Bada$$, who dissed him.
