J. Cole Explains Why He Still Loves Kanye West Despite Recent Diss

Kanye West hates J. Cole's music. He made that perfectly clear on X last week.

"No one listens to J Cole after loosing their virginity," tweeted Ye in part.

The diss could simply be part of Kanye's ongoing attention-seeking crash-out.

Or, Ye could still be legitimately angry at Cole for criticizing him in his 2016 song "False Prophets."

Either way, Cole remains fond of Ye and made this known Sunday night at his Dreamville Festival.

Cole's love for Ye involves sampling his song "The New Workout Plan" for his cut "Work Out."

"I know n*ggas feel a way about him right now, but I got love for [Ye], and I really appreciate him," said Cole on stage. "He cleared all these f*cking samples for me."

Cole explained that he made "Work Out" right after listening to "The New Workout Plan," which lives on Ye's The College Dropout album.
