Viral TikTok stars the Island Boys appear to have been harboring a very dangerous criminal.
Today, a Palm Beach, Florida police SWAT team raided the brothers' home while searching for Andrew James Thomas, who was wanted for first-degree murder in a drive-by shooting that left an eight-year-old girl dead.
Thomas was in the house during the raid and Island bro Alex Venegas says that Thomas ran toward him with a black handgun with an extended clip when he saw that the SWAT team was at the door. Alex told police Thomas tried to get him to hide the gun but he refused. The SWAT team was able to apprehend Thomas without a fight.
In addition to the murder charge, Thomas was booked for gun possession and violation of probation for a separate robbery case.
The Island Boys' manager says the Venagas's had no idea Thomas was a wanted man. He told TMZ that the Island Boys "just knew him as a quiet kid and he would come and hang out and do his thing and go back to whatever he got going on but we had no clue about any of these allegations toward him."
Police weren't sure if Thomas was living at the house or just visiting.
