Irv Gotti is no longer a Hip Hop A-lister.

But he was quite a big deal back in the day. Gotti took his recent media run to the Wendy Williams Show, where Wendy asked him if he or his Murder Inc. bro Ja Rule ever hooked up with their hook lady Ashanti back then.

Gotti admitted he did, but then went out of his way to deny that had anything to do with his marriage breaking up

"With me and Deb separated, she caught me cheating," he explained

Wendy then interrupted him to ask if he was caught cheating with Ashanti. 

"No, Ashanti is not a homewrecker, guys. Ashanti had nothing to do with me and Deb," Gotti said, getting heated.

He then explained Deb caught him in a hotel with another woman, and that lead to the end of the marriage. He did cop to slippin into Ashanti after the separation but before the divorce paperwork. 

Why's Gotti so heated about all of this?
