Immortal Technique Says Media Is Effeminizing Men Of Color

by HHL Editors

During an interview with Vlad TV, underground rapper Immortal Technique addressed the growing feminine trend in Hip Hop.

First, he said it wasn't his place to judge another man for the dress he might wear:

"I don’t worry about what other people do with their personal time,” Immortal Technique said. “If somebody’s gonna give me fashion advice and tell me 'I should be doing that.' That’s probably not a good idea because I’m not gonna react well to it. But I can’t tell other people how to live they life. I can’t pretend that I can stand in judgement over other people."
But he also forwarded the belief that by promoting the Young Thugs of the world, the media is feminizing black and brown men:

"People blame the effemination of people of color on media because they say they wanna make us less dangerous to people," he said They wanna almost castrate the strength of men of color."
We're as guilty as anybody of promoting Young Thug, perhaps more than he deserves from his record sales.

But it's because you guys love clicking on his antics, and we can honestly say we never thought about it terms of feminizing anybody besides Thugger himself. What do you think?
