IDK Sticks Up For Kendrick Lamar's Silence On George Floyd

Thanks to social media, celebrities can comment on anything they want anytime they want.

Most of them have been weighing on on the George Floyd situation, which has led to a national reckoning on police violence towards black men.

The pressure to weigh in is particularly heavy on black celebrities.  Yet Kendrick Lamar -- who rarely uses social media or makes statements -- has remained silent.

Rapper IDK defended Lamar's lack of comment.

"People coming for Kendrick Lamar like we don’t know he’s a person that does alot but says little. I trust he’s making shit happen behind the scenes," he typed.

Lamar is expected to drop an album soon and may be waiting to let his music do the talking.
