Ice Cube Disagrees With Tony Yayo That Biggie Smalls Was A Better Storyteller Than Him

Tony Yayo was a recent guest on Drink Champs and said The Notorious B.I.G. was a better storyteller than Ice Cube.

Cube gave some pushback to that opinion, but said he's a Biggie fan. [Go to the 4:07-mark]

“It’s subjective,” said the South Central rapper while speaking to DJ Whoo Kid. “Everybody got they favorites. I put my stories up against anybody and I have a bigger sample size. But at the end of the day, everybody is going to have their different opinion. I love Biggie, I’m a fan of Biggie."

"I’ve wrote records for Eazy and N.W.A," added Cube, who recently gave his top five diss songs. "And look, when we talking about storytelling, are we talking about rhyming? Because I write movies too, so I’m a hell of a storyteller. I can tell a damn story. So are we just talking about rap? That’s only a portion of what I do ... Look, to be in that conversation, I’m winning already.”

As far as music, who's a better storyteller to you, Cube or Biggie?
