It's been about a week since footage surfaced of that girl saying the N-Word during Kendrick Lamar's Hangout Fest set. K. Dot had invited her on stage to recite the lyrics to "m.A.A.d City," she started saying the N-word part of the chorus, the crowd booed and the rapper stopped her.
Some have blamed the female fan for the n-bombs, while others blamed Kendrick for bringing her up on stage and having her do that particular track.
During an interview on The Project, an Australian TV show, Ice Cube said Kendrick never should've brought the girl on stage.
“Don’t invite people on stage if you don’t want them singing your song. That's basically what it is," he explained. "You know, everybody knows what the songs are and you know, I think it could have been avoided if the fans stay in their seats, and the artist, you stay on the stage and do your job. We didn't pay to see nobody else sing anyway."
