Hip Hop Collective Brockhampton Signs Huge New Record Deal With RCA

by HHL JT

The boys of Brockhampton are getting paid.

Billboard reports the Kevin Abstract-founded collective have signed a $15 million deal with RCA for six albums over three years. The deal doesn't include touring or merchandise, meaning they have ample opportunities to make more money.

"People are really excited about the touring -- the streaming numbers and the consumption numbers aren't big," one of the sources, whose label considered the deal, tells Billboard, adding that the valuation marked "crazy times." "It's like an Odd Future deal, but when Odd Future did that deal, it was close to $2 million."

The deal covers all the members of the Brockhampton, which fluctuates between 6 and 15 people, including producers, designers, and management.

It's the latest in a string of big money deals for young rappers, including $3 million to Juice WRLD, $8 million to Lil Pump and 20 million plus to Logic.

Abstract explained his decision to sign with RCA in an IG post:

Do you think they'll be worth the cash?
