Police believe Robert Crimo III was responsible for the shooting up the Highland Park, IL. Fourth Of July parade, killing 6 and injuring dozens from his vantage point on the top of a building.
Crimo, 21, has deep ties to the Chicago suburb: His dad once ran for mayor of the town.
Crimo was also an aspiring rapper who performed under the moniker Awake The Rapper.
YouTube and Soundcloud have removed his music, which had garnered hundreds of thousands of spins. His music videos were full of violent imagery.
Crimo was taken in without incident yesterday evening. He has yet to be charged and is still listed as a "person of interest."
