Eminem is lucky he's alive...
Back on April 6, 26-year-old, Matthew David Hughes got into Shady's gated community outside of Detroit and then used a paving stone to smash a kitchen window and enter Em's home.
The alarm didn't wake Em's security at first, but it awoke Marshall, who found Hughes in his living room, which he screamed for his guards to come to get him.
Hughes didn't attempt to take anything, but now we have info on why he was there.
According to court reports, Eminem said he thought Hughes was his nephew at first, but then realized it wasn't, and says Hughes said he was there to kill him.

said Matthew Hughes told him he was there to kill him.” Detective said that’s what Eminem told him after his home was broken into in April. Hughes pictured faces felony charges. Case now heads to Macomb County Circuit court September 28. pic.twitter.com/k5il3IGQjw
Eminem was not in court today. Bond remains $50,000 cash surety for Mr. Hughes. Investigation showed a window was broken, Mathers security team responded. Huges is still locked up on a $50,000 bond and faces felony charges that will be addressed at his next court hearing later this month.
