Gunna Denied Bond Again

Fulton County Georgia's charges against Gunna don't seem as serious as those against Young Thug.

While they were both hit with RICOs, Thugger also caught a gang activity charge.  Thug has also been tied to specific crimes, including murder, while Gunna has not been.

Despite that, Gunna got turned down for bond today for a second time.

Prosecutors and Fulton County District attorney Fani Willis opposed bail for Gunna (and all the other YSLs) because of “numerous threats to kill or harm witnesses.”

Gunna won't go to trial until at least January of 2023.

Wunna has alleged that Fulton County's case against him has racial undertones.  Willis, who brought the charges against Gunna and the rest of YSLs, is Black.

“There are definitely many people that are looking at life under this indictment,” Willis said. “These are serious times, they are serious allegations and it is my opinion that violence in our community deserves maximum penalties.”
