Ghostface Killah's 36 Seasons Album Comes Out Next Month

By Sermon

The element of surprise is how Ghostface Killah unleashes his next LP, 36 Seasons. While most weren't expecting it, and simply because we're getting a Wu-Tang Clan album the same month, Ghost is back at it with a 14-track concept album due out December 9.

"Tony Starks returns to Staten Island after nine years, like a man returning home from a war. He wants the company of old friends, to reunite with his girl, to live a quiet life. But New York has other plans for him."
Besides the concept, the album's hard copy will be pretty unique as well. The booklet will be a 24 page graphic novel curated by the same folks who did his Twelve Reasons To Die comic series last year. Get On Down has a huge bundle featuring vinyl, t-shirts and posters, or if you just want the album itself they have it as well. Pre-order it on iTunes too.

Features on the album come from legends like AZ (many times), Kool G. Rap and Pharoahe Monch, then newer names like Shawn Wigs, Kandace Springs and more. You can listen to "Love Don't Live Here No More" here.
