Roxie Washington, the father of George Floyd's daughter Gianna, is suing Kanye West for $250 million for comments he made during his Drink Champs interview that was released over the weekend.

During the chat, Ye claimed that Floyd died from too much fentanyl rather than Derek Chauvin's knee.

The plaintiffs will be going after Kanye, his partners, and his business associates for harassment,  misappropriation, defamation, and emotional distress.

"Mr. Floyd’s cause of death is well-settled through evidence presented in courts of law during the criminal and civil trials that were the result of his untimely and horrific death. Nevertheless, you have maliciously made statements that are inaccurate and unfounded, causing damage to Mr. Floyd’s estate and his family," reads a letter to Ye and his legal team from Washington's lawyer.
