Gen Z TikTokers Wants To Cancel Eminem But Twitter Millennials Aren't Having It

by Daryl Nelson

Tables are starting to turn.

It seems that a lot of Millennials who are music fans have spent a lot of time using the term "old head" while calling anyone who was born before the early '80s out of touch.

But now it's happening to them, because Generation Z, those born between 1996 and 2009, are calling them old and out of touch. And it all has to do with Eminem.

The 8 Mile rapper was trending recently because some from Gen Z want him cancelled for a line he spit in his 2010 cut "Love The Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna.

@snmmerr

to everyone that is canceling him I literally love u😁

♬ love the way you lie - sam

"If she ever tries to f**king leave again / I’mma tie her to the bed and set this house on fire," spits Em in the song.

Many from Gen Z went on Twitter and TikTok to explain why they want Em cancelled, but Millennials fought back and said it's not happening. You can see some of the chatter below.

twitter: we should cancel eminem cause he influenced all the trash white rappers today 😡

gen z on tik tok: we should cancel eminem cause of his controversial disgusting lyrics 😭

Gen Z made a couple jokes about skinny jeans and Eminem and millennials are in the booth writing off beat raps and angry piano songs. I think Gen Z won.......
