G Herbo Pleads Guilty In Federal Case; Will Be Going Away For a While

by HHL JT

In 2020, G Herbo and five other men were arrested by the feds on charges of running a multi-year, multi-million dollar fraud scheme.

They were accused of getting credit card numbers, possibly over the dark web, and charging millions for luxury goods over the last four years.  Their illicit purchases were said to include private jet flights, limousine rides, exotic car rentals, luxury vacations, and designer puppies.

Herbo plead not guilty to the charges, which normally carry sentences around 20 years.

However, he recently had a change of heart and switched his plea to guilty.

His sentencing is scheduled for July 7 and he is expected to get about three years.

In addition to that, he is facing new gun charges in his hometown of Chicago.

Update:

G Herbo is set to serve five years in prison and three years of supervised release after pleasing guilty to fraud. He also has to pay a $250,000 fine, a mandatory special assessment of $100 restitution, and forfeiture to the extent charged in the agreement. pic.twitter.com/3qmVRYOi9M
