G-Eazy's Team Caught On Tape Talking to Marketer Who Manufactures Streams

by HHL JT

There's a big article in Rolling Stone about how streams are manipulated to give artists higher chart placements and the good publicity that comes with that.

Much of it focuses on digital marketer Joshua Mack, who claims he can generate 200 million streams a month for the cost of $30-$50k per month and alleges many a big-name artist use his service.

While there is no evidence that G Eazy used Mack, Rolling Stone has obtained audiotapes between Mack and Blueprint Group, the management firm that oversees Eazy's career.

In the tape, one of G's team members tells Mack “I want this to be big" in relation to a new single from G, possibly the 2019 Chris Brown featured 'Provide". Mack responds with his abilities and his price.

"We basically cracked the code and understand how to manipulate the system and hit astronomical numbers," he told them,

He then acknowledging Spotify is on to him, but claims he still gets results.

No word from G or his team on the article.
