Future's ex bodyguard Michael Tanner Phillips was shot and killed Monday afternoon in Jonesboro, Georgia.

While Future mourned his death on Twitter, his camp made clear that Phillips hadn't worked for Future in a few years.

Nevertheless, the cops would like to talk to Future. They have several leads in the case, and believe old friends (or employers) might have some useful information.

According to TMZ, Future doesn't think he has any relevant info. But he won't even talk to the cops to tell them that.
