Future and Metro Boomin's song "Like That," featuring Kendrick Lamar, is the subject of a lawsuit filed by California rapper Rodney O.

The song samples Rodney's cut "Everlasting Bass," and he's never been paid royalties, according to his claim. Rodney says he didn't clear the sample on top of that.

Barry White's estate is mentioned in the suit as well since his song "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More Baby" was also sampled.

Rodney further alleges that he wasn't included in the songwriting credits when "Like That" was nominated for a Grammy.

But one of Metro's reps said the sample was cleared, and Rodney was paid $50,000. That person also accused White's estate of holding up Rodney's royalty payment and said he should focus his lawsuit there.

This has the potential to get real messy, so we'll have to see how all of this goes.
