Last night, Future premiered the Chris Brown-featured single 'Pie.'
Now we're learning the track has been included on HNDRXX, which was the second of his two number one albums released back-to-back this past February.
The concept of the "living album" was popularized last year by Kanye West, who kept updating his The Life Of Pablo project. A press release from last year explained 'Ye's intent:
“In the months to come, Kanye will release new updates, new versions, and new iterations of the album. An innovative, continuous process, the album will be a living, evolving art project."Future has yet to explain his rationale for adding 'Pie' to HNDRXX after all of this time.
But it's actually not the first time he's done such a thing. He added the track 'Wicked' to the streaming-only version of his 2016 album Evol after its release.
What do you think of artists tweaking their albums after their official drop?
