Bad news out of France's Hip-Hop scene.
French rapper Samat was shot and killed today while sitting in his car at a McDonald's parking lot in Garges-les-Gonesse (Val-d'Oise).
Samat, 37, was just released from prison for weapons and drug trafficking, and was making a name for himself in the music scene.
Unfortunately, his career was cut short.
According to police, the suspects fled to another vehicle, which was then found burned later.
The investigation is ongoing.
