French Montana Responds To Chinx's Mom's Criticism

by HHL Editors

Chinx’s mom Veronica Clinton has said she felt “disrespected” by the way French responded to Chinx’s death, and the way he treated her at her son's funeral.

She also said French needed to tell her more about the murder of his Coke Boy soldier.

French responded to her in an interview yesterday with Wendy Williams, saying it is the police's job, not his, to find out what happened to Chinx.

He also spoke on his relationship with Chinx and Veronica.

I love Chinx’s mom, but I think me and her never had a relationship,” French said. “I never spoke to her when he was alive. I might have spoke to her one time. The second time I spoke to her was at the funeral.” “She just asked me, ‘What’s going on with my son?’ I said, ‘I can’t… I don’t know.“I was like, ‘I told him to stay out the streets. Like don’t be driving around 4 in the morning just you by yourself or you with another person.’ She said, ‘You’re not his father.’ I said, ‘Okay.’ That was it.” As far as Chinx, all I did was give him a platform to feed his family. I never made a dollar off of him. All the money he made I told him to go and take care of your family. He was in the streets at the time selling drugs. I gave him a platform. By the time last year came he had has own house, his own car, his family was good. I think I did my job. If I tell you what to do and you don't want to listen to me... You know."
French starts talking Chinx at the eight minute mark.
