Freddie Gibbs Thought LeBron James Was Going To Beat Him Up

by Daryl Nelson

Freddie Gibbs thought he'd be pummeled by LeBron James for criticizing the Los Angeles Lakers' poor play this season.

The Bandana rapper spoke about his concern, while saying that he ran into the NBA star last month.

“I talked to LeBron [at] Super Bowl weekend. I was like, ‘Oh sh*t!' said Gibbs. "Look, I thought LeBron was gonna beat my ass. I ain’t even gonna lie, man. I was prepared to get my ass whooped for talking sh*t about the Lakers.”

Just last month, Gangsta Gibbs fired off a tweet about Russell Westbrook's subpar shooting, which a lot of people have been criticizing lately.

Y’all gotta stop letting him shoot that shot bruh 😂 https://t.co/TOl4fsKx8q

"Y’all gotta stop letting him shoot that shot bruh," wrote Gibbs, next to a clip of Westbrook bricking a shot off the backboard.

Do the Lakers have any chance to redeem their awful season?
