Freddie Gibbs will be releasing his first album with Warner Records in the near future. In fact, earlier this year, he said it'll be the best album of 2021.

But before Warner Records, Gangsta Gibbs signed a deal with Keep Cool/RCA Records to release Bandana, his critically acclaimed LP produced by Madlib. According to the rapper, the RCA executive avoided him for over a year. Then Gibbs ran into him at an event.

“After I made Bandana the n*gga that signed me to RCA ghosted me for a year plus,” tweeted Gibbs on Monday, August 9. “Don’t let these industry n*ggaz ‘brother’ you they just care about where they gon be workin at next year. They not creators like you. Pussy ass n*gga saw me at a party last month damn near sh*tted on himself and had to run to @LAMBOLAMBO for shelter. Every failed rapper turned exec I know personally is a hoe ass n*gga that couldn’t get no b*tches.”

If you're a rapper, do you still want to be signed to a label after hearing stories like this?
