Floyd Mayweather Talks About His Daughter Having A Child With NBA YoungBoy

by Daryl Nelson

In November of 2020, Floyd Mayweather's daughter Yaya Mayweather announced that she was pregnant with NBA YoungBoy's child.

Floyd didn't seem bothered by the news, even though YoungBoy once called him "a bitch a$$."

"I just want the best for my daughter. If that makes her happy, then we're happy," said the boxer at the time.

During a visit to The Pivot Podcast this week, Floyd spoke about YoungBoy again and had nothing but kind words for him.

“I’m proud of my daughter even though she’s a little young to have a baby,” said Floyd. “She’s 21 and she’ll be 22 this year but I’m proud of her. I’m proud of NBA YoungBoy. Very, very talented young kid. One of the biggest artists, as far as in music. He got a cult-like following … I look at him just like one of my sons. I only want the best for him, and I don’t want him having beef with anyone  ... I only want the best for NBA YoungBoy. I’m going to continue to push him and push her for both of them to be great.”

Are you surprised that Floyd has embraced YoungBoy after the rapper dissed him?
