Floyd Mayweather Really Wants To Fight Conor McGregor

by HHL Editors

It turns out Floyd Mayweather very much wants to fight Conor McGregor -- who's made it quite clear he wants to take Money on.

How do we know?

50 Cent.

Fif ran into Dana White at dinner last month, and told the UFC head honcho that his on-and-again off-again pal Floyd would very much like to get in the ring with Conor.

"I was at dinner in New York for [UFC] 205, and we bumped into each other at dinner. So we were hanging out, we were talking," White told Fox Sports Live. "Then I went over and sat back at my table and I ate. And then when we were leaving, he said to me, 'When’s your boy gonna fight Floyd?' And I said, 'My boy? Who are you talking about, Conor?' And he said, 'Yeah.' I said, 'Floyd don’t want to fight Conor.' And he goes, 'He does, Dana. He’s dead serious about it.' And I said, 'I don’t know, man. Call Floyd and see what’s going on.' So that’s how the whole thing got started up again."
White went on to say he didn't think it was going to happen. And there was no specification to what ring they would meet in, although McGregor has claimed he would be willing to go boxing rules.

Go to about the three minute mark to hear White on 50, Floyd and Conor.
