Floyd Mayweather Mocks Canelo's Alvarez Record Breaking Contract

by HHL JT

We knew Floyd Mayweather would have something to say about Canelo Alvarez's $365-million 11-fight deal with streaming platform DAZN, which is the largest contract in sports history.

Keyword being contract, as Floyd was able to make $275 million just for his stunt fight against Conor McGregor.

Alvarez's one loss as a pro came in 2013 to Mayweather and it wasn't particularly close. Money referenced that -- and Alvarez's PED issues -- in his TBT attack on Canelo and his big new bag.

"It didn’t matter if Canelo ate his PED steak or not this night, this was by far the easiest fight of my career! Connor McQuitter was a way better fighter than Canelo's cheating ass and I beat the brakes off him too! It takes me 36 mins or less to make $300 million plus. It literally takes me 1 night and 1 fight to make what you might make in 5 years and 11 fights! So really, who's still winning? You do the math!," Floyd wrote.

Actually, we're pretty sure Floyd didn't write that. But point taken.
