But ha apparently put Fivio Foreign in a similar deal.
Fivio signed with Ma$e around 2018. On the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Fivio explained that he didn't even read the contract before putting his pen to it. [Jump to 21 minutes.]
"I ain't gonna lie, he just pulled out the paper and I signed it immediately," Fivio said.
What about lawyers and all that, the podcasters wondered?
"The n*gga who brought me there said just sign that sh*t, you're bugging," Fivio said.
"The advance was $5000. That's all he gave me. $5000 was a lot. $5000 hit. I thought that sh*t was going last. The sh*t didn't last two weeks. I'm still in the contract now. Ma$e I knows the business. I didn't know nothing ... He a smooth talker."
It's a tough business.
