First Week Sales Projections For K.Dot's 'To Pimp A Butterfly' Are In

Kendrick Lamar just shattered Drake's month-old Spotify spin record. But if the projections from the usually reliable Hits Daily Double hold, To Pimp A Butterfly isn't going to touch If You're Reading This, It's Too Late in first week sales.

HDD believes TPAB will sell between 350,000 and 375,000 copies in its first week, sales plus streaming. If You're Reading This, It's Too Late did 535,000 in its initial seven days.

HDD does warn that since since physical copies of the Sunday night release are only arriving in stores today, TPAB's projections could grow .

As it stands, it's still better than the first week of K.Dot's last album, 2013's Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City, which did 242k.
