First Week Sales Projections For Chris Brown & Pusha T Revealed

by Sermon

This week had releases from two pretty big artists. On one hand, you had Chris Brown's return with Royalty, which featured a nice mixture of R&B and Pop/DM. Then there was Pusha T's Darkest Before Dawn, with his typical lyricism and dark production.

HDD is projecting Chris Brown will do 125-135K (150-160K with streams). That's right in the range of what his last album, X, did first week and should be enough to make it the biggest debut of the week.

The news for Push is not as good.  Darkest Before Dawn will only sell 38-43K (40-50K with streams). That's down from the 74K his debut solo album My Name Is My Name did in 2013.

What were your thoughts on both albums?
