First Week Projections For Snoop Dogg's 'Cool Aid' & Logic's 'Bobby Tarantino'

Snoop Dogg's return to rap wasn't embraced by the public.

According to Hits Daily Double, Snoop's 14th album Cool Aid -- his first proper rap album in five years -- is only projected to move about 15K, sales plus streaming.

His last album Bush did 24K first week and that was considered a pretty big disappointment.

It's a little harder to figure out what the 20-23K sps Logic's Bobby Tarantino is projected to do first week means.

On the one hand, it's a huge drop from the 135K his last album, Incredible True Story, did.

But Bobby Tarantino was a surprise "mixtape", and one wouldn't expect it to match the sales of a proper album with a proper rollout. Still, it's never good to see #'s that low when you're a major artist.

In other chart news, Blink 182's comeback album California is expected to finally end Drake's Views nine week run atop the charts. The pop-punk band is expected to do 140-15K sps, whereas Drake will roll along with 110-115k.
