Kanye West and Drake's fans were thrilled that their two heroes squashed their beef and got together for a concert to benefit Larry Hoover, the imprisoned Gangster Disciples founder and boss.

The Feds were not.

According to TMZ, the Feds were surprised that Ye and Rizzy would support Hoover, who the government considers one of the "worst of the worst."

Hoover, 71, has been imprisoned for 48 years.  He is serving six life sentences for murder and drug dealing.

TMZ reports that the feds will privately acknowledge that a lot of lower-level drug dealers got draconian federal sentences in the 80s and 90s and should probably be freed.

However, they do not think Hoover should be grouped in with them and believe he should spend the rest of his life in prison.
