Federal Judge Throws Out Jas Prince's $4 Million Suit Against Cash Money

by HHL Editors

Cash Money has been taking Ls lately, legal or otherwise.

But Birdman and company just grabbed a pretty big W when a federal judge threw out Jas Prince's $4 million suit against CM over Drake's royalties.

Prince says Cash Money owed him five million dollars -- or 22 percent of Drake's royalties -- for bringing them the Canadian child star. He eventually got a million and had gone to court to recover the rest.

However, the judge found that the money was was owed to Aspire Music Group, not Prince. Prince and Aspire appear to be in their own legal battle, and the judge dismissed Prince's Cash Money claim on grounds that he isn't entitled to the money in the first place.

This may not be the last we've heard of this case, depending on how things work out between Prince and Aspire.

For now, Cash Money will be able to dedicate their legal resources elsewhere.
