Yesterday, 43-year-old Hernandez Govan was indicted by a grand jury for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the death of Young Dolph.
He is the third person indicted for the killing, which took place in Dolph's hometown of Memphis about a year ago.
Prosecutors believe Govan paid Cornelius Smith and Justin Johnson to kill Dolph. Smith and Johnson were charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder earlier this year.
In a macabre twist, Govan is the father of the late female rapper Lotta Cash Desto. Desto, who was signed to Lil Uzi Vert, was shot to death in Porsche SUV in West Houston in September.
So far, there is no evidence the killings were linked.
