Fat Joe Feels Bad About Outing Anthony Mason As Biggie Smalls' Victim

by HHL Editors

Fat Joe finally solved the mystery of what New York Knick player The Notorious B.I.G violated in his track 'I Got A Story To Tell.'

In the song, Biggie brags of banging the unnamed player's chick, and then stealing from the baller's home.

Earlier this week, Fat Joe revealed the Knick was the late Anthony Mason.

"I regret saying that," he says in an interview with HipHopWired. "I didn't know, I don't know if it's my place to say that. I just knew about it so much 'cause I knew. I don't know if it was my place to say that. I ain't taking nothing back, it is what it is ... When I did that interview, it slipped," he continued. "And I didn't realize nobody else knew. I thought everybody knew, so when he was telling me, I was like, 'Yeah.' He's like, 'Wait a minute, breaking news!' I'm like, 'Oh my God.'"
Joe felt extra guilty about putting Mason's name out there because the two were pretty tight.

"The whole time [Mason] lived in New York, we partied in the clubs together," Joe explained. "I love Ant Mason. Rest in peace."
Mason died last year of heart failure at age 48.
