Eric Holder Found Guilty Of Murdering Nipsey Hussle

Eric Holder has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Nipsey Hussle.

This afternoon, a jury of nine women and three men ruled that Holder acted with premeditation when shot Nipsey to death in front of Nip's The Marathon Continues store in Crenshaw on March 31, 2019.

Holder had hit Nipsey almost a dozen times with a black semiautomatic in one hand and a silver revolver in the other and left him to die in the parking lot.

Holder, who like Nipsey was a Rollin 60 Crip, is said to have shot Nip to death because the rapper and entrepreneur suggested he was a snitch.  However, prosecutors also argued there was pre-existing jealousy -- and that led to premeditation.

“I submit to you that the motive for killing Nipsey Hussle had little or nothing to do with the conversation they had; there’s already a pre-existing jealousy,” Deputy District Attorney John McKinney told the jury. “Here you have Nipsey Hussle, who is a successful artist from the same neighborhood, [and] Mr. Holder, who is an unsuccessful rap artist.”

Holder, who was badly beaten in his holding cell last week, faces life in prison when sentenced.
