Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' Is Now A Children's Lullaby

by HHL Editors

Last week we got to hear a demo version of Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' that Shady didn't even have any recollection of recording. Today we get to hear the lullaby version of his biggest hit.

It comes from Rockabye Baby!, which has been turning popular hits into lullabies since 2006. The project is the brainchild of Lisa Roth. She is the sister of former Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth, who was kind-of-sort-of the Eminem of his much tamer time period.

Roth sat down for an interview with Noisy about the unlikely lullaby, which she acknowledged has been her most controversial pick.

I admit he’s the most extreme artist we've done so far," she told Noisy. He might be considered aggressive or offensive or even morally bankrupt by many people. But he’s continually embraced by the mainstream—commercials, movies, award shows. He is the personification of irony in a way. I think that makes him perfect for our series. And there are no lyrics, these are all instrumental. So no harm, no foul. It’s at the discretion of the parent too.
Listen below. We're pretty sure if we had heard this as a tot there'd be no crib that could hold us.
