Eminem Concedes Where He Went Wrong With "Revival"

The success of Kamikaze has made Eminem the comeback kid.

To come back, you have to have first fallen down. Eminem took his tumble on his 2017 album Revival, which didn't do well with either the critics or the music buying (and streaming) public.

Eminem has been pretty defensive about Revival. In fact, he spends a lot of time on Kamikaze going after those who criticized it.

But in a new interview with his good friend Elton John, Shady admits Revival wasn't what it should have been, and offers up his opinion on why it didn't do well.

"Stepping away from it now I think I realized ... that people probably have gotten accustomed to me taking some risks, and I think that Revival was probably just too tame of an album or too ... I guess tame," Em said.
