Drake's Pick 6ix Restaurant Has Been Closed After Non-Payment

by HHL JT

Drake has been wildly successful as a rapper/singer.

As a restauranteur, not so much.

Drake's splashy Toronto sports bar Pick 6ix has been shut down a year and a half after opening. According to The Eater, Drake's landlord pulled the plug because Pick 6ix was $67,000 behind on its rent.

Drake's team tried to blame the closing on a "flood." But a notice of lease termination was put up on the restaurant's window before the flooding claim was made on Instagram.

Pick 6ix's answering machine claims they will open again next year.

This is the second restaurant Drake has lost.  The Drake-backed  Frings closed in Toronto in 2018.
