Drake Just Got His First #1 Single As The Lead Artist

by Sermon

Drake has had hits. Make no mistake about it. And he's been featured on songs that went #1, most recently Rihanna's "Work."

But today "One Dance" became Drake's first official #1 single as a lead artist, sending Desiigner and 'Panda' back to the #2 spot on this week's Billboard Hot 100 chart.

For Drake, this is a huge moment. He talked about how badly he wanted a #1 hit back when "Hotline Bling" was coming close. Unfortunately, when it peaked at #2 it was blocked by Adele's return with "Hello." But Drake's time was bound to come.  And since Views has had one of rap's most successful first week ever, it's only right that "One Dance" gives him his first #1 single.

Does Views have any other songs that could also become #1 hits this summer?
