Drake's Legal Team Thinks Kendrick Lamar Is From Oakland

The internet is still reacting to Drake filing a defamation suit against Universal Music Group over Kendrick Lamar's diss song "Not Like Us."

Drake accuses the company of using shady methods to promote a song that wrongfully refers to him as a pedophile. He says "Not Like Us" put him in danger as well.

"[The song] repeatedly suggests that violence should be used against Drake because he is a pedophile ... The Recording repeats 'wop, wop, wop, wop' and then says Lamar will 'f*ck 'em up,'" the suit reads.

Elsewhere in the 81-page lawsuit, the lawyers reference another line in the song and botch up where Kendrick is from.

"Later, the Recording threatens that if Drake comes to Oakland, where Lamar grew up, he will not make it out alive: 'I think that Oakland show gon' be your last stop,'" they wrote.

As many probably know, Kendrick is from Compton, and he used that line to say Drake should be worried about going to Oakland, because he disrespected Tupac Shakur, who's from there, by using AI to mimic his voice in the song "Taylor Made Freestyle."

Considering it's so easy to verify, how do you think Drake's legal team got Kendrick's hometown wrong?
